We kid you not! To prove that, we have curated 3 Guilt-free Cookie recipes for the Holiday Season, that you can easily make on your own and enjoy!
1. Melt in the mouth Peanut Butter Cookies
We know that once you do finish making these and devour them, you would be really surprised to know that this delectable brilliance is actually quite healthy thanks to the peanut butter! The best part is that besides tasting absolutely amazing, these cookies are also rich in fiber, protein, and healthy fats!

1¾ cup whole grain pastry flour
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
⅓ cup chunky peanut butter
¼ cup canola oil
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1.PREHEATthe oven to 190°C and simultaneously coat 2 large baking sheets with cooking oil.
2. MIX most of the dry ingredients- the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
3. COMBINE the brown sugar, peanut butter, and oil in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until well-combined. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture (make sure that the dough is crumbly).
4. Make 1 inch balls from the dough and place on the prepared baking sheets, leaving 22-inch gaps between each ball. Flatten the balls so that they resemble the shape of a cookie.
5. BAKE 1 sheet at a time for 7 to 8 minutes, or until they are light brown in colour. Cool on a rack for 2 minutes. Remove from the sheet and place on the rack to cool completely.

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
¼ c unsweetened applesauce
2 Tbsp canola oil
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cup rolled oats
¾ cup dried cherries
1.PREHEATthe oven to 190°C and remember to coat 2 large baking sheets lightly with oil.
2.COMBINE the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, applesauce, oil, egg, and vanilla and mix until well blended. Add the flour mixture and stir until combined. Stir in the oats and cherries into this mixture too.
4. DROP the batter with the help of a rounded teaspoonful onto the baking sheet and make sure that the spoonfuls are 2″ apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes before removing to a rack to cool further.

These deliciously simple cookies are not only light to eat but by adding the lemon zest in the dough also delivers some major health benefits. It has been proved that a certain substance found in the peel of lemons could help decrease cancer risk too.

2 separated eggs, separated
½ tsp baking powder
⅛ tsp salt
¼ brown cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp grated lemon zest
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
1. PREHEAT the oven to 190°C and line the baking sheets with parchment paper.
2.In a large bowl beat the egg whites with an electric mixture on medium speed, until foamy while slowly adding the baking powder, salt, and sugar to it. Continue beating on medium speed until stiff peaks form.
3. In another bowl combine the egg yolks, vanilla, and lemon zest, and beat with a fork until thoroughly mixed. Fold into the beaten egg whites until just combined. Sift the flour over the egg mixture and fold in until the batter is smooth and light. Drop 2 teaspoons of batter per cookie about 2″ apart onto the prepared baking sheets.
4. BAKE for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden. Cool on the sheets for 5 minutes, and then remove to racks to cool completely. The cookies will crisp upon cooling. Dust with confectioners’ sugar if needed before serving. If there are leftovers, (which we don’t think is going to happen), remember to store it in a covered container.
